Using the Calendar

See your scheduled posts by day, week or month, create posts at a chosen time, drag posts to reschedule them, and view your posting slots.

The Calendar shows all your scheduled posts on a day, week or month grid. Use it to see your schedule at a glance, add a post at a particular time, or drag a post to a new slot.

Open it from Plan > Calendar in the left-hand menu.

ℹ️ Prefer a list? The Planner shows the same posts day by day, with a drafts backlog, filters and bulk actions.

Changing the view

Use the buttons at the top to switch between Day, Week and Month views, and the arrows to move backwards and forwards in time.

Times are shown in your account's timezone.

Creating a post at a particular time

Click an empty spot on the Calendar at the date and time you want. CoPost asks you to confirm, then opens Composer with that date and time already filled in.

Rescheduling a post

Drag a post to a new time or day and drop it. The new time is saved straight away.

You can't move a post into the past, and how far ahead you can schedule depends on your plan.

Post options

Click a post on the Calendar to open its menu:

OptionWhat it does
EditOpens the post in Composer
Remove from ScheduleTakes the post off the schedule and turns it back into a draft. You'll find it on the Drafts tab of the Content page.
DeleteDeletes the post and removes it from the schedule

Slot Mode

Switch on Slot Mode to see your posting slots, the recurring times set up in your post slot collections, instead of your posts.

In Slot Mode, click an empty time to create a new recurring slot at that time.

Speeding up the Calendar

If you have a lot of posts with images, the Calendar can take longer to load. Go to Settings > Brand Space and switch on Hide Images in Calendar to show posts without their images. This makes the Calendar faster to load and move around.
