Welcome to CoPost! Work through this checklist and you'll have your first post scheduled in about ten minutes. Each step links to a full guide if you want more detail.

1. Create your account

Sign up, verify your email and answer a few quick setup questions. See Creating your CoPost account.

2. Check your timezone

Go to Settings > Account and make sure your Timezone is right, so your posts go out when you expect. See Managing your account settings.

3. Connect your social accounts

Go to Manage > Integrations and click Connect on each platform you post to. Accept every permission the platform asks for. See Connecting social accounts to CoPost.

ℹ️ Managing social media for clients? Send them a Client Connect Link so they can connect their own accounts.

4. Set up your Brand Voice

Go to Settings > Brand Voice and add your website or take the AI interview. This makes every AI feature in CoPost sound like you. See Setting up your Brand Voice.

5. Create your first post

Open Create > Composer, write your caption (or let AI help), add an image or video, pick your accounts and choose Publish Now, Schedule Post or Add to Queue. See Composer - Complete Guide.

6. Set up a posting schedule

Create a post slot collection with the days and times you want to post, so you can add posts to a queue without picking a time for each one. See Creating a post slot collection.

7. Let CoGen do the work (optional)

Switch on CoGen from your Dashboard, and it plans, writes, illustrates and queues posts for you every week. See Using CoGen to create posts automatically.

8. Plan and review

Use the Calendar and Planner to see what's coming up and move things around. See Using the Calendar and Using the Planner.

9. Bring in your team (optional)

Invite colleagues or clients to your Brand Space, each with the right role. See Inviting team members and understanding roles.
