About Social Media Hooks Auto Feed

CoPost's Auto Feed gives you the ability to set up a social media hook generator, you can either let our AI use your brand voice or you can provide instructions or a combination of both to generate a week, 2 week or a months worth of hooks on an automated cycle.

Whichever cycle you choose, a brand new set of hooks will be created to top up your queue before the current cycle ends meaning there will be no gap in content going to you socials.

You can also choose between text only posts or templated, choose templated to make your hooks really shine, just pick a template, font, font colour and highlight and your post will go out as an image post with your hook text overlayed on the template.

Additional Instructions

  • Add any additional instructions that can help our AI better understand what you would like the hooks to contain, this could include specific themes, tone of voice.
  • This can also be left empty if you have enabled brand voice, our AI will make a best guess as to what the hooks should contain.

Additional Instructions

If using brand voice and also adding additional instructions, try to not add any conflicting instructions, for example your brand voices' "tone of voice" could say "Friendly & Casual" whilst additional instructions advise to be "Moody and Devilish". OK, that would probably never happen but I'm sure you get the point 😅

Queue Settings

  • Choose how often new hooks are generated - 1 week, 2 weeks or 30 days

Choosing a shorter cycle such as a week is a good option if you like to tweak your brand settings or instructions more frequently in order to influence the next cycle

  • Choose to add the newly created posts to an existing post slot collection or you can create a new one
  • Choose whether to mark the posts as draft, if enabled, all posts created by this automation with have the status Scheduled Draft meaning that they will need to be manually changed to scheduled in order to publish.

You will need to have an existing Post Slot Collection already created in order to select one or just leave the setting as default to create one straight after saving the automation.

Choosing the Type of Post

  • Finally choose the post type that this automation will create.

- Text only - Each post will publish with just the hook caption.

- Template - Each post will contain the hook text plus the same text overlaid on a template of your choice.

Choosing and Customizing a Template

We have chosen Template posts for this tutorial so now we'll go through choosing a template and customizing the colors and text.

The highlight creates a border around the text, you can customize the color of the border to create a nice contrast to the text color

  • Customize the text color and the highlight color.
  • Here we have ended up with a gradient blue background with white text and a bold, light grey highlight
