Replying to Comments in the Social Inbox
Read and reply to comments from your connected accounts in one place, filter them by sentiment and intent, and keep track of what you've handled.
The Social Inbox collects comments on your posts from your connected accounts, so you can read and reply to them without opening each platform.
Open it from Analyze/Engage > Social Inbox in the left-hand menu.
Supported platforms
The Social Inbox works with:
- Facebook Pages
- Threads
- YouTube
- X (Twitter)
- Bluesky
Finding comments
- Click an account's picture at the top of the page.
- You'll see a list of that account's posts that have comments, with how many comments each one has. A coloured bar on each post shows how many of its comments are positive, negative or neutral.
- Click View Comments on a post to open its comments.
ℹ️ Posts appear once their comments have been synced. If you've just connected an account, give it a little time.
Working through comments
Each comment shows who wrote it, when, and how many likes it has. You can:
- Reply: type your reply and send it. It's posted on the platform under the comment.
- Like: like the comment on the platform.
- Skip: mark a comment you don't need to reply to, so it's out of your way.
Comments are sorted into three groups, so you always know what's left:
| Group | What's in it |
|---|---|
| Pending | Comments waiting for you |
| Replied | Comments you've replied to |
| Skipped | Comments you've skipped |
When everything on a post has been dealt with, you'll see All caught up.
Filtering by sentiment and intent
CoPost uses AI to tag each comment, so you can find the ones that matter most:
- Sentiment: positive, negative or neutral
- Intent: question, compliment, feedback, hateful or other
Click a sentiment or intent filter to show only those comments. For example, filter by question to answer customers first, or by negative to deal with complaints quickly. Click Clear to remove the filters.
